Thomas Riemer has been handcrafting gloves in his Austrian workshop since 1845. They are the oldest glove maker in Vienna, priding themselves on using traditional, time-honoured techniques and finest quality materials
Deerskin leather has been the leather of choice for the Austrian generals since the Dual Monarchy of Austria-Hungary from 1867 to 1918.
This traditional "officer-leather" was highly appreciated at the imperial court for being comfortable, having a good grip, supple and very smooth. A special century old machine is used for the finger seams.
Today they are worn at the Spanish Imperial Riding School in Vienna.
These gloves are lined with the softest, grey cashmere and have a snap fastening closure at the wrist.
